Morsels

I saw Santo versus Frankenstein’s Daughter last night as a part of SynthCleveland’s Unsilent Films series. It wasn’t as bad as I’d heard, and while unbelievably crummy, the fact that each new scene was like the beginning of a different porn plot [night in the woods, chained masked guy in a dungeon, girl locked up in jail with a guard, etc.] and the uber-awesome wrestling skills of Santo made it worth at least one watching. I could analyse the cultural aspects of the film [it is very Mexican], but I won’t. Instead I’ll just say that there were a bunch of hot goth girls there.

I got this weird and awesome honey corn from the WSM last week. You don’t have to cook it, just shuck and eat. It is so sweet, like candy. Tonight I am going to make tomato basil and garlic soup with extra sharp cheddar cheese and corn on the cob.

As soon as I get my new laptop and get it set up to my specifications, I’m going to be doing a redesign of this site. It has been just over a year, so it is due. I remember when I used to do it on a monthly basis.

It doesn’t look like I’ll be allowed to get a dog for my apartment. The folks that own the building are very much against it due to barking and damage to the wood floors. I might still put together a pet resume and give it a shot. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
