Oh, I think you’ll enjoy Bringhurst’s book. Have you been following the web translation?
I’ve already read bits and chunks of it, but it’s pretty dense for someone like me who found the web translation first, and therefore thinks a ligature is just something that holds the reed onto a saxophone.
Burn the Robert Jordan, as he tugs on his braid and straightens his skirts.
Dude, I’m with you, but I’ve been reading that particular excuse for a story since I was 9 YEARS OLD, and though I’ve grown significantly over the past 20 YEARS, and no longer particularly care for the story, I WILL BE DAMNED if I don’t find out how it ends. That said, though Robert Jordan is now dead, they hired some other gun to finish the damn thing, and BOOK N is coming out this Fall/Winter.
I’m reading through the books again to make sure I can remember who is whom, since it has been 4 years since the last worthless installment. Only TWO MORE BOOKS to go after this next one!
