I had to take the day off of work because Bram has an ear infection. First we had to spend an interminable 2.5 hours at MetroHealth, but getting his $3 prescription one door down from the pediatric clinic was nice. It’s that pink stuff that tastes like bubble gum.
Instead of studying for my Intro to Public Adminstration final, which is tomorrow, I baked. Dark chocolate brownies (so dark they look like coal), 7 layer bars, and chocolate-dipped pretzel rods. So much to do, so little time left before the holidays.
I see you checked the brownies, to make sure they’re not poison.
To make sure they were done. The recipe had the wrong oven temp on them. The central portion still wasn’t fully cooked. Have fun eating it tonight.
Ear infections aren’t fun. Michael has to have tubes put in his ears on Christmas Eve. I guess the junk *behind* his eardrums is so gummed up that he has significant hearing loss from it. The procedure will clean that up for him and the tubes well help it drain out. The little guy has been having a rough fall with these ear problems though. Hope Bram’s ears never get that bad.
Poor guy. Getting tubes put in your ears has NEVER sounded like a pleasant or desirable procedure to me.
POOR ABRAHAM—- HERE IS A GET WELL HUG FROM GRANDPA——YOUR DAD HAD EAR INFECTIONS WHEN HE WAS LITTLE ALSO——AND YOUR GRANDPA WEARS TWO HEARING AIDS NOW———MUST BE SOMETHING TO HEREDITY.
