In which Adam describes his training and progress for the 2006 Cleveland Marathon.
Today I had a 6‑mile run, the first long run of my training session. I ran an average of 8:30 per mile which is pretty good considering I had to stop a few times to rest my right knee. I don’t know what is going on with that. I think it might be a pinched nerve and Andy at the Lit corroborated that. He’s a bartender so his medical opinions are accurate. I’m gonna do some bike-riding tomorrow and I have Monday off, so we’ll see how I’m doing Tuesday. Perhaps extensive stretching will make things all better. Meanwhile, beer awaits!
