Un or self edu­cat­ed explo­rations into areas of igno­rance.

Ash Wednes­day kind of snuck up on my this year. I had­n’t giv­en much thought to what I’m going to do to improve myself this Lent. I think that this year I will try to be less of a smar­tass for these forty days, and going for­ward. Addi­tion­al­ly, I won’t pur­chase any extra­ne­ous mer­chan­dise for myself [CDs, DVDs, etc. UNLESS I get a new job]. Beer is not includ­ed as extra­ne­ous mer­chan­dise.

So let it be writ­ten. So let it be done.
